Ranny Pravasi Sangham  and  Ranny St. Thomas College Alumni Association  organized  farewell function to Mr. Shibu Pullamapllil and Family

Ranny Pravasi Sangham Kuwait in association with Ranny St. Thomas College Alumni Association Kuwait Chapter organized a farewell function on February 15th Friday at United Indian School Auditorium to honor their dynamic and active member Mr. Shibu Pullampallil and family who are leaving Kuwait for good on a noble cause.

Mr. Shibu Pullampallil has been member of Ranny Pravasi Sangham Kuwait and Ranny St. Thomas College Alumni Association Kuwait Chapter since his tenure in Kuwait. He has been an active and a dedicated member in the both associations and successfully held various positions like executive member, general secretary, general convener, program convener, directory convener, souvenir convener etc.

The farewell function with an atmosphere filled with emotions and sentiments was presided by vice patron of both associations Mr. Roy Kaithavana. Program Convener Mr. Anish Cherukara welcomed the gathering. Ranny Pravasi Sangham President, Mr. Shibu Thundathil, Ranny College Alumni Vice Patron Mr. C.M. Philip, President Mr. John Xavier, Gen Secretary Mrs. Alice Varghese, Vice President of both associations Mr. Sabu Olickal, Vice President of Ranny Pravasi Sangham Kuwait Mr. Shaji Simon, Former President Mr. Varghese Kachanathu, and Former Vice President of Alumni Assciation and former Member of Ranny Pravasi Sangham Kuwait Rev. Father P.M. Varghese who is in short visit in Kuwait, spoke very fondly about Mr. Shibu Pullmapallil and expressed that it was a really loss to the association to miss his selfless services and wished him good for future endeavor and good health. He is facilitated by memento which was given as a token of gratitude by Treasurer Mr. Raju Cheengapurathu for Pravasi Sangham and Mr. Pradeep Jose for Alumni Association. The prize for the drawing completion conducted by Ranny St. Thomas College Alumni is also given to his daughter Olivia by Vice President Mr. Sabu Olickal and to Mr. Shibu by Convener Mr. Anish Cherukara. In his reply speech he thanks all the members and families to the support and kindness showed to them and request their prayers for all the future ahead. The function was concluded with a vote of thanks by Ranny Pravasi Sahngam Gen. Secretary Mr. Sojan Mathew and followed by delicious lunch.
