Shopping during Diwali

Annakut, Padwa, Goverdhan puja, Bali Pratipada, Bali Padyami, Kartik Shaklee Pratipada or festival of light are some names of one of the most celebrated festivals in India, Diwali. All Indians around the world celebrate Diwali, but to celebrate Diwali there are many preparations to be done.

The first thing is that people have to buy new clothes for that day of festivities. When you just think of it shopping is an easy task where you chose what you like and pay money for it, but when it comes to the season of festivals there are many offers and things get sold out in seconds. So, when shopping, especially clothes, the people must start early, as they always say,”the early bird gets the worm.”. The people must also buy many other things such as the gifts that are to be presented to others, fire crackers, sweets, diyas, etc.. Even for the different items as mentioned there are offers but they too get sold out.

Shopping is not something that is just limited to the world around us, offline world, but, it is now brought to the internet and now shopping is done in few minutes or can even be continued for days. There are many new online shopping platforms but even there products get sold out mostly faster than the offline world. Diwali shopping is such a task that you can’t do it until you start or end at that specific time that not many people possess the knowledge about, if too early you don’t get offers, but, if too late, products get sold out.

Shopping for Diwali is such an arduous task that not many people succeed as they find what they want is sold out. Shopping for Diwali also has its perks as many people who don’t get any new things for themselves even on their birthday, get on Diwali. Diwali brings joy to all the people and also makes their wishes come true. Diwali shopping being and arduous task also is fun as the people finally get what they might have wished for the past year, 5 years or even whole life. Diwali brings happiness and joy but sometimes also reduces the weight of people’s wallets.
