In this fast developing and globalizing modern world, we come across many things. Within that, I think having computers is really important. Just think when our parents were at this stage, did they have any of this? No right, so I think we are really blessed to have these. Computers do have many advantages in our busy life.
Computer in its simplest form, is an electronic device that stores data, analyses, produces information as required and does complicated mathematical calculations in no time. Computers provide the access of getting into various social – networking sites like You Tube, Facebook, Twitter, My Space etc. This helps many of us to be in contact with people living all around the world. For all this there has to be one factor, Internet. If Internet is accessible then no matter whatever doubts we have concerned with any subjects can be cleared.

Therefore, we cannot imagine any area where computerization is not available – business, banking, electronic publishing, engineering design, worldwide communication through E-mail, creative designing, fashion designing etc. – the list is endless. Countries like Australia, Japan, UK, USA, Germany, France and Switzerland have used computers extensively for automobiles, factories, business transactions, health management, education and community.
Computers play a major role in our school life. During this period we'll have to submit various projects and assignments as said by our teachers. So we'll have to collect different pictures and bit information too. For this the computers are useful. From the concerned websites we can refer for this information and take the related pictures.
In the case of creative kids, computers provide an opportunity to explore their creativity. Computers have the system of Painting as well as Drawing within it. This may become as the first step in improving and expanding their skills. Computers also have the system of Animation. As a result it plays a major role in preparing Cartoons and Animation movies. Besides that it can be also made useful to the society. It is that in case of any murder (attempt), robbery, kidnapping etc. the police make rough sketches of the culprits after collecting informations and evidences from the witnesses.
When talking about entertainment, we can download many varieties of games and newly released movies. As a result we can play these and also watch the movies by sitting in our home. Both these serve as a part of leisure time.

Beyond all these they also have some drawbacks. Continuous use of computers may really cause severe damage to our eyes, brain, neck, backbone and many other organs. Using laptops, keeping in our lap is really harmful. Children all around the world have a habit of spending most of their time on various social – networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Skype and so on. This gives them less interest in their studies and make them perform bad in their exams.
As the world gets more and more developed along with growth of technology, we can see a considerable change in their body designs. Nowadays laptops have replaced computers. "But no one can say that computers are not of use to the community."
