Why I Love Kuwait, My Second Home

Wednesday, February 19, 2020

I write this article to share my love for our beloved land Kuwait. Kuwait and India maintain a healthy fruitful relationship. There are about 8000 Indians in Kuwait. I came to Kuwait when I was one-year-old. Whenever I travel to India, I am excited to be back. I always look forward to play with my friends and to come back to school.

I am excited to celebrate Kuwait liberation day, which is on February 26th and Kuwait National day on February 25th. Kuwait got liberated in 1991 by US led military operation.

The Kuwait Dinar is the currency of the state of Kuwait. Till 1961, Indian rupee was the currency used in Kuwait.

I am proud to be here and I am happy with my parents. My father takes me for cycling and the roads are always so clean! On Fridays, we go to shopping malls. I love to look at everything and play around when my parents are busy shopping. Then we will have something yummy from the food court.

I love to go to Kidziana, Kuwait Magic, Kuwait Zoo and Scientific Center. I had so fun on rides and I saw many animals for the first time. On holidays, I go to sea side. The sea looks like someone mixed blue paint in the water.

Kuwait tower is the land mark of Kuwait. It’s so tall that it seems to touch the clouds.

There are many more things that I love in Kuwait. As the National Anthem says “may you be safe and glorious ‘, I am very happy and enjoying Kuwait a lot.
