The constitutional sovereign state which has high income economy backed by worlds sixth largest oil reserves, the country which has highest valued currency in the world, the country which has fourth highest per capita income that country is none other than Kuwait.

Today on the auspicious morning of Kuwait’s national day I pay my gratitude and best wishes to state of Kuwait my second home which has provided me the same love, dignity and respect as my homeland India

Kuwait is a country which has 70% of expertise population i.e.non-Kuwaitis are more than local people, still the country has given equal care and love to all its residents. My second home kuwait and home country India are related to each other since 1945, during World War II Kuwaiti t sailors make annual trips to India and visit India for the trade of Pearls.

Diplomatic relations between India and kuwait started in the year 1962. Kuwait was one of the country which has given its extended support to India during India China war.

Indians from one of the largest expedite communities in the Kuwait with their presence in white-collar jobs in electronic, industrial ,engineering sector. Even the health sector of Kuwait employees significant number of Indian medics. In Kuwait,Indian community is known as brilliant and least problematical expedite community which works for overall development of Kuwait

India and Kuwait also related through trade , India is the biggest importer of oil from Kuwait. India exports food products, tea and spices and wood to Kuwait.India has also signed several agreements related to scientific and technology in cooperation with Kuwait.

I shifted to Kuwait when I was just 3 year old. I have spent majority of my life in Kuwait. As both countries are not far from each other I spent quite good time in India during vacations. I had an equal opportunity to learn and understand culture of both the countries . With exchange of ideas and sharing love from both countries I strongly feel that I have been emerged as a global citizen with broader perspective towards values and culture of each country . Finally I believe in Vasudev kutumbakam which means the world is our family . Every Indian staying in Kuwait must be having same feeling like mine. Today with along with my prayers for Kuwait’s prosperity, I pray for global peace and togetherness.

A wonderfully written article by the promising young reporter. IIK Editors could have paid a little more attention in proof reading which would''ve made it even better. (Eg: The word expatriate is misspelled in more than one place and few other grammatical errors)
