India and Kuwait: A Friendship Like Mine!

Hi, my name is Keerthana, and I love learning about friendships especially big ones, like the friendship between India and Kuwait.

You know how best friends share things, help each other, and always stay close? That’s exactly how India and Kuwait have been for a very long time. Let me tell you why their friendship is so special!

A Friendship from Long Ago
A long, long time ago, people from India and Kuwait became friends. They sailed across the sea, bringing gifts for each other. Kuwait had beautiful pearls, and India had yummy spices. They traded, shared, and became close just like how I share my crayons with my best friend Evelyn.
This connection grew stronger over time. Many Indian traders and workers came to Kuwait, and both countries became important partners. Even today, India and Kuwait trust and respect each other like true friends.

Friends in Today's World
Even now, India and Kuwait help each other in so many ways. Kuwait has lots of oil, and India has smart people who work in hospitals, schools, and offices in Kuwait. They also share food, technology, and culture. Many Indian families live in Kuwait, and they celebrate festivals together. It feels like one big, happy family.

One place where this friendship is truly celebrated is The Indian Community School, Kuwait (ICSK). ICSK has been a home for Indian students in Kuwait for many years. It started in 1959 and has grown into one of the most respected schools in Kuwait. Our school represents the strong bond between India and Kuwait by teaching Indian culture, celebrating both Indian and Kuwaiti festivals, and encouraging students to learn and grow in a friendly environment.

Celebrating Together at ICSK
At ICSK, we celebrate India's Republic Day, Independence Day, and Kuwaiti National Day with great excitement. We sing both national anthems, perform dances, and enjoy cultural programs that show our respect for both countries. The Ethnic Day and International Day celebrations at our school also bring together Indian and Kuwaiti traditions, showing that our friendship is not just about trade it's about people, love, and culture.

A Shiny Future Together
I believe this friendship will last forever! Just like how I grow with my best friend, India and Kuwait will also grow together. They will build new things, make life better, and always be there for each other.

ICSK students like me are proud to be a part of this wonderful connection. We study, learn, and celebrate together, carrying the spirit of friendship forward. And as I look ahead, I know that India and Kuwait will always be best friends just like me and my bestie.
