A Place with Myths and Fables Spun with Industrial Progress Kuwait, my delightful motherland, is a sight to behold, a land of excellence with progressive history. Kuwait is located next to Arabian gulf, and is a small but very powerful country. Masters in hospitality, Kuwaitis take pride in their warm welcoming nature, as well as astonishing scenery. From the coastline to the skyline, Kuwait is a perfect combination of traditional culture and modern development.

A Rich History and Culture
Kuwait is known for its captivating past that lies beneath its trade, pearl diving, and maritime sailing. This is further supplemented by its Souq Al-Mubarakiya, also known as Al-Mubarakiya Market which Arabic speakers known as the flagship market of Kuwait. It is noteworthy that before the Gulf nation Kuwait became known worldwide for its oil sources, the country was widely known for its trade. Pearl diving and fishing was an important contributor to the Kuwaiti economy. The traditional diwaniya, or diwan, remains as an important element of Kuwaiti politics and society, showing yet another side to the Kuwaitis love for unity and hospitality.

Kuwait has a special place for Arts and Literature as well. The National Museum, Sadu House, and Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Center for Culture and Arts are proof of the country’s commitment towards cultural preservation and promotion. The Hala February Festival, which takes place annually, gathers the nation to celebrate the rich traditions, music, and food of the country.

Kuwait has an alluring coastline along the Arabian Gulf with stunning beaches and sunsets. The Kuwaitis coastline is preserved and one of a kind. Although the country is a desert type, it has beautiful features. The crystal clear waters surrounding Failaka Island have historical ruins which attracts countless visitors. They can enjoy peace together with adventure.

Kuwaits progress and success can be seen by their architectural structures. The Harma Tower is one of the tallest in the region, increasing Kuwait’s futuristic vision while the Al tower Kuwait symbolizes the nation and stands tall in the sky. Shoppers can go to the malls and restaurants, while people who enjoy scenery can visit the luxurious hotels that put Kuwait on the map as a paradise for tourists.

A Land of Hospitality and Resilience
The most beautiful trait of Kuwait lies in its people. Kuwaitis are generous, hospitable, and kind. There’s the hospitality, of course, tracking from welcoming guests with traditional gahwa (Arabic coffee) and dates to lending a helping hand to those in need.

A Bright Future Ahead
With modernization, Kuwait’s onward march doesn't forget its heritage and traditions. Vision 2035 is a roadmap for transforming Kuwait into a financial and cultural center on the world stage, with an emphasis on economic diversification, technological innovation, and environmental sustainability. Kuwait is a country of rich heritage and rapid development, from its golden deserts to its shimmering coastline, from traditional souks to soaring skyscrapers. A land of dreams, love and opportunities.
