My Second Home- Kuwait

Monday, February 20, 2023

Above all the sand dunes, rich Arabic culture lies the only Arab country with its home-grown tradition of theatre Kuwait . Beyond being one of the richest country in the world with the highest valued currency, its encompasses a flag that holds a lot of meaning and emotions while white signifies purity and innocence; red, hardiness and valor; and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice. This small country with just 4+ million population comprises with multiple infrastructures, various traditional food joints where the food is rich in flavors, served piping hot and leaves a remarkable memory on your taste buds.As an Indian brought up in Kuwait the country just has my heart not just for a picky eater but the dance beats to which just can get out of your mind, the Baklava and other Arabic delicacies packed with sweetness, the big malls to which you can shop till you drop etc. The parks are many in number to offer kids a play area, the teens get a place to hangout with their friends, family and the parents can go for a walk to relieve themselves with the ongoing stress. If you're a coffee person you have multiple options across the streets of Kuwait to get a shot of caffeine and multi-cuisine restaurants to get a taste of the food around of the world. My memories are just packing a suitcase for all my cousins back in India with lots of goodies for them as well as miss the food while you're over there. Summer is most dominant weather here with just the perfect amount of breeze in winters with the most flattering sunset. The beaches are a common site for the locals to fish and spend a sunny day with their near ones and winters are all about the barbecues with the breezy wind and Chalets. Did I miss out cars? Thursday nights on the roads are just a runways of luxury and racing cars.
