Also known as 'The Fort', the country is home to great historical significance. Kuwait is known for its homegrown tradition of theatre.

A tiny, oil-rich country located at the top of the gulf, Kuwait has one of the most powerful currencies in the world. The power of the Kuwaiti dinar is mainly attributed to its oil and gas industry. Kuwait has one of the lowest death rates with 2.2 percent per 1000 people. Kuwait has a continental climate characterized by long hot summer and short warm winter. It is the only gulf state with an elected National Assembly. It is the only Arab country in the Persian gulf region with a theatrical tradition.

The culture of Kuwait gives aspects of Kuwaiti society and is part of eastern Arabian culture. Being an Islamic country, the abaya is the traditional clothing of women. Kuwait is known for its strong ties with its family members.

The most famous site to visit in Kuwait is The Grand Mosque due to its international recognition in Islamic architecture. The unique architecture, culture, beaches, and hospitality of Kuwait make it a must-visit for tourists.

Kuwait is also a well-educated country with a literacy rate of 96.46 percent. Despite being a desert country, Kuwait is worth a visit for anyone who wants to get away from the busy routines of the city and enjoy a peaceful life.
