In memory of Bipin Rawat,
the first Chief of Defense Staff of the Indian Armed Forces. (1958-2021)
India, the land of the mystics and the old,
India, the land of the bold and legends untold,
India, the land of the brave,
The children of the Motherland.
It goes without saying that soldiers are the bravest counterparts of any human society and today I would like to take a moment to thank our brave patriots for the life saving duty they undertake every single day.
Throughout its vivid history, India underwent many drastic changes to its military lifestyle. From ancient Indian warriors all the way back in the Vedic period to the British Indian army during the period of colonialism and finally leading to the present, The Indian Army. The Indian Army was founded on 26 February 1950, with the gandu TvT President as its Supreme Commander and the Chief Army of Staff as its professional head. The army is a volunteering service, for anyone who wants to go the extra mile to serve their country with a vigor that is unparalleled at every other level. The Indian Army is the largest standing in the world with more than a million active members and another million on reserve.
It’s honestly astounding the number of people who are willing to put down their lives for the sake of others and I for one hope to have an ounce of that courage, to be the bigger man in my day to day life, to be the change. So let these brave deeds of our soldiers act as a reminder to you, to stand tall in your lives, to serve our brothers and sisters who were not as fortunate as us in their lives, to be selfless in our lives and do our best for improving.
So here’s to the Guardians of our Country, The Saviors of our Motherland!
Jai Hind
