India is a democratic country that is developing fast. In about 10 years, India will prove Mahatma Gandhi’s famous quote, “Be the change that you want to see in the world”. India has many achievements in various field including science and technology and Ayurveda. In around 10 years, Indian cities will be pillars of economic growth for the country’s built environment. India has even announced a policy called Niti Aayog that will upgrade the Indian transport system to an all-electric car fleet by 2030.
Talking about India’s space missions, ISRO has amazed the world with its expertise, feats and advancements. As of 17 December 2020, the PSLV has made 52 launches, with 49 successfully reaching their planned orbits, two outright failures and one partial failure, yielding a success rate of 94%. Similarly, India’s other defense organizations such as DRDO and ADA have successfully launched many missiles.
Even though despite all its prosperity and well-being, India definitely it faces challenges. These challenges include from environmental degradation to poverty of people. However, the Indian government. Has taken measures to prevent it from exceeding and even trying to minimize the effect.
Population might remain to be a problem for some time but that is when the tier 2 cities will step in and provide the next phase of economic growth. Indian cities are not really in a good shape now. While Indian tier 2 cities are the new economic hubs in the developed world, ours are still far behind is amenities and planning. However, they are going to catch up.
We are not going to stay poor forever. As we move to become the largest economy by 2030, our healthcare and infrastructure will have to keep up. We would not be able to attract foreign investments if we retain our image of a poor country without a conducive atmosphere to conduct business. That in itself is an optimistic sign. I hope I have been able to paint a good picture for you. Let us keep up the good work.
