India is a very diverse country. It’s rich cultures and traditions make it the best place. It has 28 states. All the states have its own traditions. It has more than 1.2 billion people making it the second most populous nation after China. Indians made significant advances in architecture, mathematics and Ayurveda. The most well-known example of Indian architecture is the Taj Mahal, built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. India also has many many ancient temples like: Mundeshwari Devi Temple, Mahabalipuram Temple and Brihadeshwara Temple. Indian dance, music and theater traditions are amazing.

Dance- The major classical dance traditions — Bharata Natyam, Kathak, Odissi, Manipuri, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam and Kathakali. Music- Indian classical music is the classical music of India. It has two major traditions:

The North Indian classical music tradition is called Hindustani.

The South Indian classical music is called Carnatic.

Theater traditions- Indian theatre is one of the most ancient forms of theatre and it features a detailed textual, sculptural, and dramatic effects.

Why I like India so much- I like India because of its cultures and traditions which makes me feel that it is the best place. I am absolutely grateful to have this great country as my motherland.
