Dusty Winds & Light Rain Expected Until Thursday Evening

The Meteorology Department forecasts continued dust-raising winds and a chance of light, sometimes thundery, rain until Thursday evening due to a low-pressure system affecting the country from Monday evening. Southeasterly winds will shift to northwesterly, reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h, likely causing dust storms and reduced visibility in open areas.

According to acting director Dharar Al-Ali, this marks the "Sarayat period"—a transitional time known for sudden weather changes.
