Police arrested Iqama forger who charge 250$ for work permit

Kuwait police arrested a Lebanese resident wanted for fraud by charging compatriots up to $250 in exchange for fake work permits in Kuwait, the interior ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

The suspect was arrested following investigations after a video circulated online showing a Lebanese man warning his compatriots against dealing with the fraudster. The arrest came as part of efforts to tackle human trafficking in Kuwait, the ministry noted.
