IIK Diwali Mela 2024 - the Mega Community celebration on Friday October 25th

The much awaited IIK Diwali Mela - the Mega Community celebration, will be held this year on Friday, 25th October 2024.

The Diwali Mela is growing bigger this year with its full energy and enthusiasm at its new venue at South Sabahiya Hall, Kuwait. The full day event from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM features one of its kind Mela by bringing all Indians together in a common platform.

Variety of traditional and cultural performances from different parts of India will be the main attraction in this Mela. Various Indian associations will present cultural shows showcasing regional and national flavours of India. Number of Games stalls, ethnic products, regional cuisines, etc will be present at the Mela.

Diwali Mela also provides an opportunity for the community members to showcase their talents in various fields by participating in Diwali Mithai Competition, Diwali Namkeen Competition, Rangoli Competition, Dandiya Dance Competition, Fancy Dress Competition etc. Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) made by students of various Indian schools will be exhibited at the Mela. All the competitions are organized by Indian Women in Kuwait - IWIK.

Games stalls, Dandya Dance etc. will guarantee a fun filled entertainment day for the whole family. Entry to the whole day Mela is Free and is restricted for families.

Like every year, a number of spot prizes are waiting for the entire community at this year’s Diwali Mela too!
