PPF Kuwait Contributed INR 5 Lakhs to CMDRF Kerala for Wayanad Landslide Relief

In response to the tragic landslide in Wayanad, the Progressive Professional Forum (PPF) Kuwait has donated INR 5 Lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF) Kerala. PPF Central Executive member Mr. Aseem handed over the funds to Kerala Chief Minister Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, underscoring PPF Kuwait’s dedication to aiding the ongoing relief and recovery efforts in the area.

PPF Kuwait praised the Kerala government’s rapid action in addressing the disaster, recognizing the substantial challenges involved in rebuilding the impacted communities. "We deeply empathize with the immense loss experienced by our compatriots and feel a profound duty to support the state's resolute efforts in restoring the affected areas," said the President and General Secretary of PPF Kuwait.

The organization highlighted that this donation, funded by contributions from its members, represents a gesture of solidarity and support for those affected. PPF Kuwait hopes that their contribution will offer some relief to the victims and assist in the recovery efforts.
