Man arrested for growing marijuana plants in Salwa home

Officers from the Drug Control General Department (DCGA) arrested a Kuwaiti citizen for growing marijuana plants in his home in Salwa. They also confiscated 45 seedlings and four kilograms of marijuana that were ready to be sold, as well as about 37 kilograms of precious metals, money earned from the sale, and bags ready to be packed.

The Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior announced that it is part of the ongoing security efforts of the Criminal Security Sector and the intensification of search and investigation operations into drug dealers and peddlers to protect the public from this dangerous scourge.
