Kuwait Airways diverted flights from shutdown airports to new routes

Kuwait Airways announced on Saturday that all airlines bound to Kuwait International Airport or departing from it are on time, except for flights coming from shutdown airports, like Iraq, Lebanon, and Jordan.

The statement added that Kuwait Airways will reschedule those flights when airports in those countries reopen and safety to passengers.

In a statement, Kuwait Airways said the new measure comes in response to the security situation in the region and out of concern for the safety of its passengers. The Airways is in contact with relevant authorities and offices outside the country and monitoring developments and updates to take the necessary action.
