Pusarla Venkata Sindhu (P.V. Sindhu) is a professional badminton player and represents India at transnational position competitions. She was born on 5th July 1995 in Hyderabad, Andra Pradesh. Her parents, P.V. Ramana and P. Vijaya are Volleyball players. P.V. Sindhu's father P.V. Ramana also took the Arjuna Award for his performance in his sport. Coming from a sport background, at the age of six, P V Sindhu got inspired by taking up sports in her career but she choose Badminton as her game and was inspired by Pullela Gopichand who had just won the 2001 All England Open Badminton Championship. He latterly came the trainer of P.V. Sindhu and invested utmost of the time on Sindhu. She firstly went to the trainer Mehbub Ali but after learning the basics and to train in Badminton she went to badminton coaching classes which was run by Pullela Gopichand in Hyderabad, Telangana, in India.

According to the reports, she was willing to give complete attention to come a good badminton player and therefore she used to travel 56 kilometers daily from her hearthstone to the guiding camp. Her determination and amenability was a reflection of a great future standing in front of her. Her first recognition was when she was ranked top 20 in BWF World Ranking in September 2012. She was just 17 at that time. She entered great accolades when she came the first Indian women in Mates to win a order at the Badminton world crown in the time 2013. With her growing success in her field of sport, she was awarded the Padma Shri award, making her the youthful philanthropist of India's fourth loftiest mercenary honor in 2015.
