The night sky filled with glittering light
A canvas of black, a sight so bright
The stars twinkle, they dance and play
In their cosmic kingdom, they rule and sway;
The moon casts a silver glow,
upon the earth, a peaceful flow.
This magical scene, a true delight,
fills my heart with pure delight.
The Milky Way a celestial river,
the universe, a sight to deliver
A thousand stories written in the stars,
who knows what lies beyond planet Mars?
The night sky fills me with wonder,
a sense of awe that pulls me under,
I can only stand and gaze in awe,
at this wondrous work of nature's law.
