India beats Kuwait by 1-0 in World Cup qualifiers

India opens its second round of FIFA World cup qualifiers with a 1-0 win Against Kuwait. Manvir Singh scored the only goal in the match with Lallianzuala Chhangte cross. Indian team earned three points in the match.

Large Indian crowd cheered for team India as they display a scintillating game against the equally good team Kuwait at the Jaber Al Ahmad Stadium. India has played energetic game from the beginning as thousands of Indian fans continued their cheer throughout the match. After creating multiple opportunities throughout the match and keeping the Kuwait team under pressure, India scored its first goal in the 75th minute. With the advantage of the home field, Kuwait also played aggressive game on the ground.




Kuwait ended the match with 10 men as their player Faisal Alharbi was sent off after picking his second yellow card in the third minute of the added time for a high boot challenge on Chhangte.

India's attention now turns to the upcoming clash against Asian champions Qatar on November 21 in Bhubaneswar.
