Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated on 5th September every year to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the 2nd president of India.
On this day, teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance. In some schools, senior students take the responsibility of teaching in order to show their appreciation for the teachers. Let’s see why they are very important to us.
They are the backbone of our society, our role models, bring guidance and dedication, they prepare our future, and they give young people the power of education. Because of teachers, countries are able to develop socially and economically. Without them, no one will be motivated and the world won’t be able to develop further.
We can’t live in a world without teachers. They’re our second parents. They give us wisdom. Let’s all give our gratitude to them for their hard work and their efforts. Wishing all of the teachers Happy Teacher’s Day.
