MoI opens new biometric centers; Two for expats, Three for citizen

The Directorate General of Criminal Evidence has opened 3 new biometric centers on Thursday, June 1. With this, the total number of biometric centers allocated for Kuwaitis and Gulf nationals has increased to five. Their working hours will be from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The biometric centers for Kuwaitis and GCC citizens are Hawally Security Directorate, Farwaniya Security Directorate, Ahmadi Security Directorate, Mubarak AlKabeer Security Directorate and Jahra Security Directorate.

The centers for residents are in Ali Sabah Al-Salem and Jahra areas.

The Directorate General of Security Relations and Media of Ministry of Interior affirmed that the opening of the new biometric centers is within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to develop and automate the services provided to the public and to facilitate and serve the public in a manner that saves time and effort, and raise the level of performance and achievement.

It explained that citizens and residents can book appointments for their biometric registration at these centers through the Sahel app (Mata platform). Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries can book appointments through the website of the Ministry of Interior.
