ICSK Amman Conducts Leadership Training Programme Leaders On Board

The leadership training programme of the newly elected school senate, was held at ICSK Amman on 13th May and it aimed to develop leadership skills and foster personal growth among the students. The camp provided a range of activities, workshops, and team-building exercises designed to enhance leadership qualities, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

The chief guest of the day, Mr. Azharuddin Amer Mohammed, Honorary Secretary, ICSK Board of Trustees and an Investment Banker by profession, provided valuable insights on leadership qualities and responsibilities of a good leader. He inspired the students to develop their own leadership journeys. The second session for the day was on the topic ‘Leading by Serving’ which was effectively handled by the school counsellor, Mrs. Sara Sony Idiculla. She emphasized on how to be a leader by building self-confidence and valuing themselves and others.

Group discussions on Crisis Management Situations and table topics session were also held and the best speakers were awarded. The Senate organised the camp under the support and guidance from Principal Mr. Rajesh Nair, Vice Principal Dr. Mary Isaac, Senate Advisor Mrs. Sumitra Nandakumar and the House mentors.
The event was efficiently anchored by the senate members, Mahadev. K and Anushka Panwar and the welcome speech was delivered by the Student Senate President, Sakina Taizun. The vote of thanks was proposed by the Student Editor, Sherwin Sterlin.

The leadership camp provided an immersive and transformative experience for participants, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective leaders.
