Attempting for World Record in Micrography

Mr. A. S. Nageswara Rao, Head of the Fine Arts Department in Fahaheel Al Watanieh Indian Private School attempted to set a world record on 6th May 2023 with his 58 students. They aim to make it into the World Book of Records, United Kingdom for doing Micrography.

Micrography is the art of creating pictures with small written words.





The event was organized in FAIPS multi-purpose hall from 10 am to 12 pm. Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Principal of FAIPS, and Mr Sunoj, Director of IIK presided over the event as the adjudicators. Children from classes 2 to 12 and from different nationalities came together to make this possible.






The program commenced with a welcome speech by Mr. Nageswara Rao followed by words of encouragement from Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, and Mr Sunoj Kalliyat Panoly. Soon after, the participants started working on the picture given to them. The A4 size picture consisted of a sketch of the Kuwait National flag, Kuwait Towers, and Kuwait Liberation Tower. Students meticulously wrote the words ‘Kuwait’, ‘Kuwait National Day’, ‘Kuwait Liberation Day’, ‘Kuwait Towers’, and ‘Liberation Tower’ in their respective places in the sketch. Different mediums like sketch pens, ballpoint pens, and pencils have been used. Parents were grateful for giving this opportunity to their children.
