Kuwait Kannada Koota's first event “Dasotsava” - 2023

Dasothsava, Kuwait Kannada Koota's first event of 2023, was held on February 17th amid great spiritual and cultural fervor. A mesmerizingly beautiful welcome-stage was constructed by the Public Relations Committee, which was led by the convenor, Smt. Sumitra Krishnamurthy Gowda, and the Co-convenor, Smt. Rajeshwari Chethan.

The program was launched with the lighting of the lamp by the President of the Executive Committee, Mr. Ramachandran Seetharaman, Vice-President, Mr. Raghavendra Bhat, Secretary, Mr. Karthik Gowda, and Treasurer, Mr. Hemant Gowda, following a wonderfully choreographed prayer. Numerous children's activities were held following an introduction by the President, Mr. Ramachandran Seetharaman, including singing contests for devotional songs and characters from the epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. Meanwhile, the executive committee from the previous year was felicitated for their invaluable contribution to the organization for the entire previous year.

The organization has a long-standing tradition of recognizing and congratulating all the children of the members for their academic success. This time around, a plaque was given to each talented child. The Marala Mallige committee coordinated the publication of the "Bhakti Karanji" issue, which included members' original essays, poems, and action paintings. The men's and women's teams of the competition then presented bhajans after this. The team of Cultural Committee Convener Mrs. Bhargavi Nagendra Brahma, Co-Convener Mrs. Lavanya Lokesh, and others put on a magnificent narrative show called "Mahima Manikantha," and it was a great success!

Finally, after much anticipation, Mr. Puttur Narasimha Nayak's devotional singing became the highlight of the entire program. Mr. Nayak's divine voice, accompanied by Mr. Narendra Nayak’s harmonium and the tabla by Mr. Rajesh Bhagwat indeed uplifted the spiritual mood of the gathering. Companies including Total Environment Homes, Square Yards, and Bajaj Alliance sponsored the event.
