MMMEK and BDK Kuwait Chapter Organized Joint Blood Donation Drive

Malayali Mums Middle East (MMME) Kuwait Unit and BDK Kuwait Chapter organized a joint blood donation drive on the occasion of International Women's Day, which is observed to celebrate the achievements of women and motivate them to strive for their rights. The blood donation camp was held at Jabria Central Blood Bank on March 11th, 2023, at 3 pm. According to the officials of the organization, the blood donation drive was part of the activities aimed at advancing women in social, economic, cultural, and political fields, with this year's Women's Day celebration centered around the concept of "Embrace Equity". The camp saw participation from people belonging to various sectors of society. MMME admins Ambily and Ameera formally inaugurated the blood donation drive. MMME's Arya, Roopa, and Pooja, along with BDK Kuwait's Rajan Thottathil, congratulated the blood donors for marking the occasion in a meaningful way. MMME officials were presented with a memento by BDK representative Liny Joy in recognition of the exemplary work and organizational excellence displayed in the execution of the Blood Donation Camp.
