Gulf Indian School celebrated Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony

There is something special about Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony– innocence retained, journeys begun and dreams waiting to be achieved.

Gulf Indian School celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Day on 9 March, Thursday, in the school auditorium. It was attended by 154 smart and bubbly children along with their parents and well-wishers. The occasion was graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Mrs. Lucy A Cherian – Principal, Indian Public School, Salmiya. The grand entry of the dignitaries- the Chief Guest - Mrs Lucy A Cherian, Principal Indian Public School, Dr. S. Prashant Vasudev - Principal Gulf Indian School & Vice Principals marked the beginning of the splendacious Pre- primary Graduation day. The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Master Hayyan Bun Munzeer of UKG followed by the national anthems of Kuwait and India. Mrs Sreeja Praveen welcomed the audience with warmth and ebullient gratitude.



The auspicious lamp of knowledge was lit by the distinguished Chief Guest Mrs Lucy A Cherian, Principal of Gulf Indian School – Dr S Prashant Vasudev and Vice Principal Mrs Kala Rajan. The Principal in his welcome address, emphasized the importance of ideal parenting and the sea of opportunities that lie ahead for the budding KG graduates.




As a token of expression of gratitude, the chief guest was honoured with a terrarium and a memento.The guests and parents were warmly welcomed by the tiny tots of LKG with a charming welcome dance.

Then came the most important part of the day -the delighted little ones of Pre-Primary dressed in Graduation hoods and caps walked the stage and received the scrolls & certificates of graduation from the dignitaries.


The graduation ceremony was punctuated by words of wisdom by the Chief Guest. The chief guest in her speech, stressed on the importance of parenting and highlighted the significance of spending quality time with children and listening to children with patience.The tiny tots of UKG took the audience on a world tour and left them spell bound as they danced to the tunes of some vibrant music of different places across the world.

This momentous evening drew to a close upon a grateful note with the vote of thanks by the Mrs Sofi Varghese Principal – KG & Primary. A well organized, and smoothly led Kindergarten graduation ceremony has certainly given the parents, teachers and the children lot of memorable moments to cherish.
