21,796 expat nurses working in MoH

The total number of nurses from different nationalities working in the ministry is about 21,796, Director of the Nursing Services Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Iman Al-Awadi revealed.

She congratulated all the nurses in Kuwait and other GCC countries on the occasion of Gulf Nursing Day, which fell on March 13.

“The administration seeks to implement plans and strategies aimed at preparing training programs with British institutions to raise the level of competencies of national cadre, submit proposals regarding the nature of work and special allowances in nursing, as well as updating policies and systems related to the practice of the nursing profession in Kuwait,” Dr Al-Awadhi said
