Indian Engineers forum Kuwait (IEF-K) & BDK Kuwait Chapter Joint Blood Donation Drive

Indian Engineers Forum Kuwait (IEF-K) and Blood Donors Kerala Kuwait Chapter organized a joint blood donation drive at Jabria central blood bank on 22 February 2023 under the social services scheme of IEF-K. It was also associated with the National and Liberation day celebrations of the State of Kuwait and furthermore a response to the campaign call from Blood Bank under the slogan, “My blood for Kuwait”

Indian Engineers Forum- Kuwait is an active association of the Indian Engineers working in Kuwait with various fields of expertise. Indian Engineers Forum - Kuwait is closely involved with understanding of the issues of Indian Engineers working in Kuwait and taking it with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait including giving back to the society in Kuwait through numerous socio-welfare initiatives such as blood donation and clean environment through beach / garden cleanup drives in Kuwait. The Blood Donation camp witnessed an impressive response from the members of the organization and from the public as well.
Program was formally inaugurated by IEF-K Founder and ex- President Mr. Vaikunth R Shenoy. He stressed on the importance of social and cultural activities to maintain the harmony and vitality of the society and the pivotal role engineers can play in that. There are a sequence of activities scheduled in that perspective, the next program in the row is a clean beach campaign; he added.

IEF-K was honoured with a memento for their social services and exemplary skills in the execution of the blood donation camp; memento was presented by Rajan Thottathil BDK.

BEC Exchange, the business partners of BDK Kuwait chapter sponsored the blood donation drive.BDK members Sophy Rajan, Nalinakshan Olavara, Vinitha ,Biji Murali, Unnikrishnan, Niyas, Nimish, Jayan and IEF-K General Secretary: Mr. Bency K Baby, Secretary Mr. Sreeraj Rajan, Cultural Secretary : Mr. Suneeth Noronha & IEF - K Members: Mr. Meril, Mr. Vivek, Mr. Santhosh, Mr. Sajo, Mr. Chandan, Mr. Sachin, Mr. Shadab volunteered their services to the successful execution of the donation camp.
