Kozhikode District Assosciation Kuwait to conduct its 13th Anniversary celebration

Kozhikode District Association conducts its 13th Anniversary celebration titled “Medx KozhikodeFest-2023” on 3rd March, Friday at Indian Central School, Abbasiya from 4.00 PM onwards.

The grand celebrations will be inaugurated by H.E Dr. Adarsh Swaika, Ambassador of India to Kuwait.

The Kozhikode Fest 2023 is conducted as a source of income for the Associations Charity scheme ‘Karunyam’, through which we offer financial aid to the neediest and financially backward people who suffer from a serious illness. The ‘Karunyam’ scheme was started from the association’s formation stage itself and we were able to forward our helping hands to many patients under treatment for major diseases like Cancer, Kidney patients, Heart patients etc... Meanwhile association is offering financial aid to our members who meet up with accidents or death itself through the Family benefit scheme. Through these years the association was able to distribute nearly 1 crore rupees through these schemes. There are plenty of such financial aid request applications continuously reaching us. To meet up these funds and to forward help hands towards the poor one’s events like Kozhikode Fest help us a lot.

The association is always keen to celebrate all traditional festivals of all religions in a grand style. Each year the celebrations start with Iftar Meet, Onam-Eid celebrations, Christmas –New year & end up with the Vishu celebration. All of these celebrations are unique and memorable due to the large participation of members and the variety of entertainment programs delivered by Balavedhi and Mahilavedhi members. Mahilavedhi members organize Free Medical campaigns, Medical seminars, Malayalam classes, etc. every year.

Kozhikode Fest 2023 is colored by the magical voice of the most popular Playback singer Jyotsna, accompanied by Playback singers like Ziya Ul Haq and Lakshmi Jayan. Also, the fest explores talented artists in Kuwait through their musical and dance shows.

The activities of the association are always supported by Kuwait’s socio-cultural society. The role of Kuwait’s media in exploring our activities and delivering them to the common man is highly appreciated.
