KuwaitVisa app to stop visa forgery and visa trafficking

Kuwait government will soon launch the KuwaitVisa app and smart IDs for workers to help organize the labour market and stop the phenomenon of visa forgery and visa trafficking, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Acting Minister of Defense Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled announced.

The electronic "Kuwait Visa" application will validate all entry visas before the worker board the plane from their home country.

The government did not announce the date when the application will go into service. The Government Communication Center said, Saturday, that Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled explained on the sidelines of the first meeting of the Committee on Demographics and Labor Market Development that the KuwaitVisa app aim of securing and regulating the entry of workers into the country. The app also aims to protect society and limit the entry of those "wanted by the courts, or those with infectious diseases," it added.

The Communication Center stated that Sheikh Talal Al-Khalid also announced the launch of the Public Authority for Manpower for the (smart employee ID), which will be included through the (Kuwait ID) app, and it includes the official information related to the worker.

The meeting resulted in a set of decisions aimed at addressing the demographics, regulating the labor market, limiting manipulation and fraud, in addition to enhancing security and safety in society.
