NAFO Global - Kuwait conducted Annual General Body meeting - 2023

NAFO GLOBAL - Kuwait, a non-political, non -profit organization registered with the Indian Embassy under Reg. No. INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/94, conducted 19th Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) on 23rd December 2022, at The Indian School of Excellence, Salmiya. The meeting was attended by large number of NAFO members and their families. A detailed annual report covering NAFO’s activities conducted during 2020-22, was presented and subjected for discussion. The meeting reiterated NAFO’s commitment towards socio-cultural empowerment of the downtrodden section of the society, and pledged to promote friendship and harmony between India and the State of Kuwait. The AGM unanimously selected a 21 members new Executive Committee (EC) to lead NAFO for the next two years (2023-2024). Through a unique and a democratic procedure, the following office bearers were selected in a separate meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee: Mr. C.P. Rajiv Menon (President), Mr. Anish V. Nair (General Secretary), Mr. Unnikrishna Krup (Treasurer), Mr. Sathish. C. Pillai (Vice-President), Mr. Naveen C.P (Vice-President), Mr. Madhu Menon (Secretary –General Affairs), Mr. Jayaraj Nair Edathil (Joint Secretary), Mr. Rajiv Nair (Joint Secretary – Cultural & Youth Empowerment), Mr. Mahesh Bhaskar (Joint Secretary – Membership & Sports) and Mr. Sudheer Unni Nair (Joint Treasurer). Also, the EC appointed Conveners, Coordinators and Vice-coordinators for the various organizational portfolios.
