Interior Ministry holds mock drills at Int'l Fairgrounds

Kuwait's Interior Ministry on Tuesday urged conventional and social media to refrain from false reporting and to instead obtain news from official sources, explaining it held a mock exercise at the Mishref International Fairgrounds on Tuesday evening using ammunition and stun grenades.

This exercise is part of drills aimed at raising the efficiency, coordination and in-field cooperation amongst staff. It will also boost the policemen's management of urgent security situations, said a ministry statement.

The ministry's media and public affairs department stands ready to respond to any queries related to security, the statement added.
