EPA registered 1,805 environmental violations in 6 month

The Environment Public Authority has referred 1,805 environmental violations to the Public Prosecution within 6 months from July to December 2022, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The authority stated in its statistics that reconciliation has been made in 594 violations, while reconciliation procedures are being completed and compensation amounts are being paid.

During the same period, the competent department issued 89 ‘to whom it may concern’ certificates.
