Ready, Steady, Set an Example!

An unquenchable fire is around the corner,
It’s blurring the lines of patriarchy,
it’s paving the way to find different female bellies,
Behold! Our time has come,
our opportunity is near,
to engrave ourselves in others’ minds.
Denial was their key
but the debate was ours and our win is finally here!
What are we waiting for?
Rise above the base desires,
Layer yourself with different necklaces.
Each necklace holding a different attribute,
Attributes that make us not only desirable to boys or men,
But to the girls who still hide behind their wooden doors!
Confidence, Love, Self-respect, Empathy and many more.
Being young isn’t an excuse,
It’s a blessing in disguise,
A blessing that will make us ready!
An additional point to prove that we aren't gullible in a different way,
A way profitable to mankind, especially to girls and women (wink).
Many difficulties have we and many more can we overcome,
Being the empathizing and emotional one amongst the duo,
It is no longer our weakness,
But the leverage that can guide us.
Guide us to the miry depths to help others!
What we can do neither has limits nor any boundaries.
Nor do we belong ‘Behind the Scenes’,
We don't belong to the ‘uncredited’ behind boys either.
Rather we exist to make a difference!
To be credited on every wall, newspaper, media and everyone's hearts!
Here comes the unprecedented days!
Filling it with humour, tragedy, hatred, jealousy,
people are ready to grill girls!
Yet, our different abilities distinguish us!
On the right are the tombstones,
On the left are our experiences and attributes!
What more do we need to start?
It’s our chance to walk down the aisle and be examples!
I am ready to be the epitome of fire, are you?
