MESCE Alumni Kuwait Conduct Family Picnic 2022 at Kabd

MESCE Kuttippuram Alumni of Kuwait has conducted a family picnic for its members and family on December 2nd 2022 at Kabd.

The one-day picnic started on the night of December 1st 2022 and lasted till the evening of December 2nd 2022. More than 100 attendees were present to make the occasion one of the most memorable events hosted by the Alumni. The official programs started Friday morning with registration. The desk was manned by Mr. Raed Rafeeq and Mr. Sharafudheen K A, who were tasked with registering and assigning each member and family into a color group. The inauguration event was presided by the President Mr. Riyasudheen C K and the Welcome speech was given by the General Secretary Mr. Nayeem L V. At the stage to spread their words of wisdom, advisory board members, Mr. Mohammed Raoof, Mr. Jezeen Abdul Jabbar, Mr. Razal Puthiyottil and Mr. Salahudheen Muhammed were present. The initial agenda of the day was revealing the Membership ID format. The first membership ID, was awarded to President of the executive committee by the advisory board member, Mrs. Siby Sarah Ephrem.

Various programs were coordinated by the program committee members Mr. Ajay Govindan, Mr. Rayees Salih, Mrs. Siby Sarah Ephrem, Mrs. Jumana Haseen, Mrs. Israth Elona and assisted by Mr. Mohammed Sali and Mr. Ramees Salih to make the day fun filled with not even a minute spent idle. The first session of the day, the ice-breaking session was met with great enthusiasm. Everybody got involved, sang and danced according to the rules and won various prices as well as introduced themselves to the MESCE Kuwait Alumni Family. The icebreaking session was followed by other games designed for every category such as Chocolate Gathering for kids, Dog & the Bone, Relay Race, Musical Chair, Treasure hunt, Bowled Out, Penalty Shoot Out, Movie Mix and Tug of War (Vadam Vali). All of which were eagerly participated by the entire alumni who gave their best to win and enjoy each minute.




Contests were conducted to keep the picnickers occupied such as candy guessing contest and photography contest with the theme “Kaliyum Chiriyum”. The photographs were sent to Mr. Suhail T K, the resident photographer, who also clicked the photographs of the event. The picnic was kept engaged by the various singers among the alumni by their melodious singing. Mr. Ajay Govindan and Mr. Mishal V A warrants a special mention for their songs.

Stalls from different business were present. Sweets stall from “Eat Sweet Bakery” with their tasty pastries and buttery croissant sandwiches were loved by all. The migration and higher education stall from “MAAS Global” helped the alumni members to get a consultation on the subject. The Henna stall from “Mailanji Penn” gave the girls and women with a chance to adorn their hands with henna.

Hot food and beverages from “Sulaimani Restaurant” were provided for the picnickers at breakfast, lunch and evening tea. The food Committee consisting of Mr. Biyas Pottachola and Mr. Jezeen Abdul Jabbar, assisted by Mr. Gokul Santhosh, Mr. Thouseef Ahamed, Mr. Nahas K N, Mr. Muhammed Afzel, Mr. Fayrouz Musthafa, Mr. Najeeb Noushad, Mr. Ifam Mohammed and Mr. Falah P K.




The highlight of the picnic, the raffle draw, which was a highly anticipated conclusion to the picnic was won by Mr. Fayrouz Musthafa. He won a gold coin sponsored by “Malabar Gold and Diamonds”. The next raffles for the 10 KD Voucher from “Eat Sweet Bakery” was won by Mrs. Safna Mohammed Shabeer and Mr. Nahas K N. All the games and contest winners were given prizes, with the overall trophy going to the pink team. A shout out to Mrs. Najah Noushad and Mrs. Risna Sharafudheen for helping with wrapping of gifts. The prizes for bowled out was sponsored by “Eat Sweet Bakery” and the overall winner’s trophy was sponsored by “Zella Gold and Diamonds”.




The overall program was sponsored by “Grand Hyper” and “Geepas”.

Vote of thanks was delivered by the Media & IT Wing in charge Mrs. Israth Elona. She thanked the various member of the core-committee for their efforts in making the picnic a huge success, Mr. Maqbool Salih for bringing on the sponsors, the food committee for their delicious food supply, the program committee for running the program smoothly and the various persons working in the background to make the picnic as fun as it was. Her most heartfelt thanks went to the entire alumni and their family for attending and participating in every event of the picnic to make it as memorable as it had. Each Alumni went back home with a food packet and lots of fun memories.
