INFOK Inter School Chess Tournament 2022

INFOK celebrated Children's Day by conducting an Inter School Chess Tournament on 25/11/2022 (Friday) at Aspire Indian International School, Jleeb Al Shuyouk from 9:30am to 1:30pm.

It was enriched with a participation of more than 150 candidates of different nationalities from almost all schools in Kuwait. The venue and prizes were sponsored by Aspire Indian International School and Lulu Money Exchange, Kuwait.



Tournament was conducted in 4 different categories as per their academic grades and was controlled by a group of Arbiters lead by National Arbiter, Ms. Anitha Rajendran (Chief Arbiter). Chairman of Aspire School , Mr. K O Mathew inaugrated the tournament. Mr. Adel Amiri, the President to KMSA was our Chief guest. He is currently a member of FIDE planning and development commission. His inspiring speech gave valuable insight for all. Presidential address was given by INFOK President, Mr. Bibin George.Chief Arbiter Ms Anitha Rajendran declared the winners and prizes were awarded by Mr.Adel Amiri, Mr. Bibin George & Lulu Exchange Marketing head, Mr. Noufal.Mr.Jacob Oomen and INFOK Joint Secretary, Mrs. Hima Balachandran were present on the stage.




The tournament was anchored by INFOK Secretary Mrs. Rajalakshmi Shymesh and it was concluded with a vote of thanks by the tournament director, Mr.Aneesh Poulose.

There were 6 rounds in total managed by swiss pairing and standing are as follows.
