Team 530 wins IBAK KDD Kuwait Badminton League 2022 title

The clash of titans, IBAK KDD Kuwait Badminton League 2022 concluded with the best team holding up the championship trophy crushing five other endowed teams. And it’s none other than the Team 530. The final witnessed their incommensurable talents over the opponent team “Victor”. It was indeed a battle of nerves between both the teams. During the final battle while Team 530 took lead by winning the Professional Men’s Doubles, Team Victor leveled score by winning the First Open Men’s Doubles.

In the third match of the final tie, the Advance Men’s Doubles was won by Team 530. By winning the second Open Doubles category of final tie, Team 530 emerged as the winners of KDD-KBL 2022 (3-1). Earlier in a fierce battle for a spot in the final, Victor defeated KKR Killers (3-1) in the first semifinals. In the second semifinals, Team 530 defeated United Sports Club by 3-1.
IBAK KDD KBL is the premier and only professional badminton league in Kuwait. Indian Badminton Association Kuwait (IBAK) had conceived the idea of a league in 2015, and this was the 7th consecutive year in which the league was held.

Kuwait Danish Diary (KDD) was the title sponsor of the Kuwait Badminton League for all these years.
The KDD KBL 2022 consisted of 6 teams, Thanjai Ninjas, Victor, Team 5.30, Spartans, KKR Killers and United Sports Club. Each tie had 5 matches - 1 Professional Men’s Doubles, two open Men’s Doubles, one advanced Men’s Doubles and a Mixed Doubles.
Kuwait Danish Diary (KDD), in line with its vision of “Wholesome Goodness” came forward to support IBAK and Kuwait Badminton League for the seventh consecutive year. IBAK continues to prove its stardom by conducting such quality tournaments involving both local and international players, throughout the year for a decade, under the guidance of Dr. Manimara Chozhan – Chairman IBAK, Chandrahas K.T, Aneesh Abraham, Ajayakumar Vasudevan, Tournament Committee and all KBL officials.
