Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish’s Salmiya Zone’s conducted 14th Kudumbasangamom

Kuwait City MarThoma Parish’s Salmiya Prayer groups conducted their 14th annual Kudumba Sangamam with diverse colorful events at Indian Community School Auditorium, Sr. Branch, Salmiya. Rev. A.T. Zacharia (Vicar - Kuwait City MarThoma Parish) gave the presidential address & inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp along with the other convenors. Mr. Manoj Parimanam (General Convener) welcomed the guest & members. Mrs. Ansu Joseph hosted the event.

There were choral renditions by Salmiya Zone prayer groups and Sevika Sangam. Programs included Fusion music, Skit, Solo Singing and Group songs. For the break fillers in between each performance, the audience were kept entertained and engaged with tricky funky questions which also had rewards for the right respondents.

The grand success of the event was a result of the untiring efforts of the committee members Joseph M.A. (Program Convener), Mathew Varkey (Finance Convener), Jose Mathew & George Mathew (Coupon), Mathew P. Thomas & Joshy Joy (Food Conveners), Adv. Tis Thomas (Light & Sound), Josen Thomas & Agesh Thomas (Arrangement), Gracy Alexander, Shanty Mathew, Jessy Biji & Sini Mammen (Reception).

Jacob Channapetta, Laji Jacob, John Abraham, Abu George, Chacko Thomas, Anish John and Santosh Oommen were present to grace the occasion. The Sponsors to the event were Bader Al Sama Medical Center, Jacobz International Consultants, and Khau Ghalli Restaurant, Salmiya. Event also had Ganamela conducted by Vismaya Orchestra. Mathew Varkey (Finance Convener) proposed the vote of thanks. The program ended with a sumptuous dinner amidst the melodious and feet tapping numbers by the ganamela team.

A comedy Drama titled Rupantharam (Transformation) directed by M.A. Joseph Manamel was also staged by the actors from nine prayer groups. Laji Jacob, Vinod T. Jacob led the Opening and Closing prayers.
