Kuwait DGCA signs agreement with Kuwait Airways, NAS to improve services

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) recently signed a service level agreement (SLA) with Kuwait Airways and National Aviation Services (NAS) to improve services provided to passengers at Kuwait International Airport.

Acting Director-General of DGCA Saleh Al-Fadaghi asserted the DGCA is keen on ensuring that airport services and operations meet international standards. He added the SLA guarantees that DGCA maintains the best service level while ensuring maximum safety and security, indicating the agreement stipulates punishing or rewarding the service providers based on their performance.

He also explained that ground service companies provide services at the baggage weighing areas, entry gate, baggage claim, welcoming passengers, luggage conveyor, aircraft cleaning and fueling among several other services.
