Sunday, November 13, 2022

“To read a biography of Prophet Mohammed SAWS, to know more about Him, to follow Him, and to implement his teachings in every aspect of our life is mandatory rather than just claiming and saying that we love Prophet (Peace be upon Him)” said Mr. Mohammed Al Naqvi, a Preacher, a Counselor, and a well-known Khateeb, addressing in “An Interfaith Get Together at Kohinoor International Fahaheel organized by Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait,

Mr. Mohammed Al Naqvi, the guest speaker in the program, talking on the topic “Message of prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Messenger of peace”, quoted a verse from Holy Quran that “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.”. The renowned speaker advised the audience to explore every aspect of the life of the Prophet PBUH, what and how He (PBUH) used to do in His lifetime. How did He use to deal with His family, Kids, neighbors, relatives, companions, Orphans and widows, deprived people of society, and even with His enemies? We must go through all these details and practice His example in our life then only we can claim ourselves to be His true followers and attain the love of Allah.

He further gave some examples from the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and how merciful He was with His servants. He narrated the statement of one of His servants Anas Bin Malik who was with him in his service for 10 years, that “the Prophet (PBUH) never ever scolded him during those ten years, instead He used to talk to him too politely always. He also narrated, on the conquest of Makkah, how He (PBUH) forgave the people of Makkah, who oppressed Him and His companions even plotted to kill Him before migration to the city of Madinah.

He concluded his speech by quoting a Quranic Verse that says “Indeed who obey ALLAH The Almighty and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be successful here and hereafter” and appealed to all the audiences there to read the Glorious Quran with understanding and implement them in their life according to the teachings and instructions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Br. Sharfuddin Soofi, the Vice President of IMA Kuwait addressing the topic “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)- Relevance in Indian context” said that once Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that “I feel the breeze coming from India where Adam (PBUH) descended and planted fragrant plant of Paradise” The time when Prophet (PBUH) said this sentence, India was a country with great civilization. India was a large, undivided India. The speaker emphasized that probably it means that the people of India were smart and might definitely appreciate and understand prophet's message. Even now we can see there is a large number of followers of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in in India and in countries which was part of undivided India such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and some part of Afghanistan.

He further said that India is the place where many communities with different faiths and religions live together with unity in diversity. Many prophets might have been sent to India. Even Vedas has a great message of the Oneness of God, which is very similar to biblical and Quranic message. Vedas could be the books revealed to prophets of that time. However, we have no authentic historical proofs to confirm that as it is from prehistoric age of 4000 years and beyond.
