The whale shark stuck off the Khairan shore has been freed back to the sea

The whale shark, which entered the Sabah Al-Ahmad marine area in Al-Khairan, had left the area and freed back to the sea, Environment Public Authority (EPA) announced.

EPA Deputy Director-General for Technical Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Zaidan, confirmed that the whale shark left the Sabah Al-Ahmad marine area. In a press statement, Al-Zaidan praised the efforts and cooperation of the concerned authorities, including the Scientific Center and the Coast Guard, for dealing with the situation.

He urged the seafarers to inform the authority with any data on their observations of these marine creatures.
