The Public Authority of Manpower (PAM) has asked businessmen to commit to paying salaries seven days before the usual date. The announcement was made as part of a press release which also detailed the announcement of the operation of services on the new application, ‘As-hal’ starting October.

In a press statement, PAM announced the launching of the salaries follow-up system on ‘Ashal’ platform in October

“This decision has been announced after the system has been updated - an initiative carried out so as to assist business owners so that they can follow up on salaries and also cite reasons for late credits or salary cuts, all of which can be followed up online,” said Dr Fahad Al-Murad, Vice Manager, Manpower Protection Authority.

He also warned that in case of non-compliance, the erring employer’s file will be closed automatically and the latter will not be allowed to hire new workers.
