ICSK Amman Celebrates Hindi Diwas

The Indian community School Kuwait, Amman branch celebrated World Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2022. The Department of Hindi organized many entertaining events as part of the celebration. Poster making competition and special assembly were organized to celebrate the significance of the day. There were performances like group dance, Hindi poem recitation, group song, speech etc.




The highlight of the day was the presentation by students and teachers through school radio 'Radio Amman 99.9' in the Hindi language. Students of grade 9 Maryam Chorghay and Simran Kaur anchored the show. The programme started with the recitation of a beautiful hindi poem by Arzoo of grade 5, followed by the melodious group song of grade 6 about Hindi diwas. Arya Manoj from grade 8, presented a couplet (doha) of the great poet Kabir Das. Mrs. Rupinder Kaur (Teacher faculty) sang a sweet song in Hindi. Mrs. Surya Banu, from the Department of Hindi rendered a speech on the importance of Hindi.

Principal Mr.Rajesh Nair delivered his thoughts on the important role of Hindi as national language and appreciated all the students for their remarkable performance.
