Our country India is one of the oldest civilizations,
And is flourishing with pride for generations.
Where every state has a specialty,
And your dreams become reality.
The monuments in Delhi,
Orissa’s dance form Odissi,
The Silk of Karnataka,
Basmati rice of Haryana
Tamil Nadu’s temples
And Rajasthan’s instrumentals
Fill India with pride, culture and legion.
Our country is the 8th most diverse region
And 7th largest nation.
We have developed so much
Since the defeat of the British, French and Dutch.
Now our country is no longer an autocracy,
It is a place where everyone is equal under democracy.
Where every problem has a solution,
Under the guidance of the constitution.
India’s glory has no bounds,
It is just as amazing as it sounds.
Here we are with patriotism in our souls,
Determination in our goals,
Thanking all our saviors who fought astray,
While celebrating India’s 75th Independence day.
