Corona infection drops to less than 100 cases

According to official statistics issued by the Ministry of Health, the Corona infection in the country witness a gradual decrease and reaches less than 100 cases at the end of last July, compared to 603 cases on the 18th of the same month. The percentage of infection to swabs witnessed a noticeable decline, reaching about 5% after it touched 20% previously.

The rate of recovery also continued to increase by 0.4 percent, reaching 99.4 percent, compared to 99 percent for the previous period, while intensive care cases decreased to 5 cases compared to 10 at the beginning of July.

The country has achieved community immunity, thanks to the awareness and the initiative to receive vaccination, the sources said.
