Environment: A Rising Matter

Formerly, no one was concerned to care about the environment. People were irresponsible about their surroundings. But now, with growing attention, some of them have become more alert. Our environment is constantly changing, and as our environment changes, so does the need to become increasingly aware of the environmental issues which cause these changes.

ISSUES REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENT:

CLIMATE CHANGE

One of the biggest worries about the environment is Climate change. It has already had adverse effects on our Planet. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and, trees are flowering sooner. It even caused death and illness among humans due to heatwaves, extreme weather conditions, and many more. Protests and Strikes have been held all over the world.

DEFORESTATION

Deforestation is the depletion of trees and forests at an upsetting rate. The trees provide us with oxygen, and several raw materials and also maintain the temperature of the earth. The major effect of deforestation on the environment is global warming and climatic change. Deforestation causes the cessation of animals, soil erosion, proliferation in carbon dioxide levels, and a chance in rainfall might decline. Cutting down trees can directly or indirectly affect human health.

POLLUTION

Let it be air, water, land, noise any kind of pollution.
It is imperiling our Mother Earth. Pollution, which arises from a variety of causes, also can cause health problems. Example: Asthma from Air Pollution, Hearing loss from Noise Pollution, Skin irritation from Water, and so on. Pollution of all kinds can have negative effects on the environment and wildlife.

SPECIES EXTINCTION

The disappearance of species from Earth is endless, and rates have differed over time. A quarter of mammals are at risk of extinction, according to IUCN Red List estimates. To some extent, extinction is natural. Changes to habitats and poor reproductive trends are among the aspects that can make a species’ death rate higher but humans also cause other species to become extinct by hunting, overharvesting, presenting invasive species to the wild, polluting, and changing marshlands and woods to croplands and metropolitan areas.

OVERPOPULATION

The human population persists to grow rapidly worldwide. Humanity entered the 20th century with 1.6 billion people; right now, we're about 7.5 billion. Estimations put us at nearly 10 billion by 2050. The increasing population has led to a shortage of resources. If this continues, it will be very difficult to sustain such a huge population. The other environmental issues including pollution, waste management, deforestation, climate change, and global warming are all associated with over-population.

PREVENTION

As we all have heard “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE” It’s indeed true. Not only this several issues regarding about Environment is there. There are some ways where we can make our beautiful planet a better place to live. Replace disposal items with reusable items. The use of paper should be avoided. Conserve water and electricity. Support environmentally-friendly practices. Recycle the waste to conserve natural resources. Raise awareness like doing Poster making or doing some blogging and stuff about this topic. It's your brain so there will be different ideas coming out.
