Indian business delegation held discussion with Kuwait Chamber of Commerce

A delegation of Indian businessmen visited Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry and discussed various opportunities for strengthening the business relationship between India and Kuwait with the Chamber leadership and other stakeholders.

The Indian Business Delegation, headed by Samrat Soo, includes representatives from Food and Beverage Sector and was arranged by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). Members of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by Wafaa Al- Qatami, welcomed the Indian delegation and held detailed discussion on various aspects of India Kuwait trade relationship.

"India is a strategic trading partner for Kuwait, as the volume of Kuwait’s imports from it amounted to about 1.86 billion US dollars in 2020," Wafaa Al- Qatami said. She also stressed harnessing all its capabilities to achieve and develop bilateral relations with India in the fields of trade and investment.

The delegation also visited Mughal Mahal chain of restaurants, City Centre Hypermarket and Oncost
Supermarket, Lulu Hyper market stores, Hakimi Supermarket
and Grand Hyper stores, along with a visit to Premiers' Tea at The Avenues Mall.
