Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed receives Indian PM Narendra Modi in UAE

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, June 28.
Following his participation at the G7 summit in Germany, Modi arrived in the UAE to pay his condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, former UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler.
The Prime Minister is in the UAE on a day-long visit. He will also take the opportunity to congratulate Sheikh Mohamed on his election as the new President of the UAE, the Ministry of External Affairs said in an earlier statement.
"I am touched by the special gesture of my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of coming to welcome me at Abu Dhabi airport. My gratitude to him," Modi tweeted in both English and Arabic after reaching UAE.
